Work history: After graduating from Union College with
a BSME, joined Mobil Oil in NYC, and attended night school at Barnard Baruch
Graduate School of Business (CCNY) to obtain MBA in international Marketing
(1969). Joined McKinsey & Company, management consulting) in 1968,
became a partner in 1975. Lived in Amsterdam for two years (where daughter
Kheri was born - a Holland in Holland), London (1 year) and extended stays
in Brazil and Mexico. Became an independent entrepreneur in 1981, acquiring
and selling businesses if I was successful in turning them around. In 1995,
became CEO of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream in Vermont. Am currently working
with two venture capital startups as resident executive/industry expert.
Also, currently a director on the boards of Lexmark International, the
MONY Group, Carver Bank, YUM Brands and Mazaruni Granite Mining (startup
in Guyana); and the advisory board of PepsiCo. The future is shaping up
as a continuum.
When retired, plan to move to: No plans
Hobbies: Tennis, Jazz, classical music
Have traveled to: Europe (all over), Africa(several),
Japan, Australia and Indonisia

motivated me, Mr. Hawarny almost broke my spirit, Mr. Williams almost
buried me, while my classmates were my rock.
